Karl Marx: "Class Struggle"
•Marxist analysis of society identifies two main social groups:
- Proletariat or workers which includes anyone who earns their livelihood by providing their labor, and is paid a wage or salary for their labor time.
- Bourgeoisie or capitalists includes anyone who acquires their income not from labor, but from the profit they generate from the workers who create revenue. The income of the capitalists is based on their exploitation of the workers.
